You broke down the shell of my egg
You entered like a metaphor for free
You spread your wings
When I pulled you in
and flew away from me

You said, Slow down wild child!
When I was floating face first in the sea
You spread your wings
when I pullled you in
and flew away from me

You taught me not to take it to heart
   and feel uncomplicatedly
But you spread your wings
When I pull you in
And fly away from me

You smile for me all the time
But I can't say that I like you cos'
You'll spread your wings
Refuse to sing
And I'll lose everything that was

You smile for me all the time
But I won't say that I like you So
You won't spread your wings
And break them in
When they refuse to go.

I write this kind of poetry too much. I am a hopeless romantic. I fall in love with everyone, everything anything. I fall in love easily without any hint or clue from another party. And so this poem is completely nameless because it applies to everyone.
luckily, I wrote this for a freind who wishes to play and sing songs. thus, I remove my Authors responsibility to relate to this in anyway.

Haha you and me both... It's both a good and a bad thing.. I dig this, it's subtly done and comes back to one message throughout.

I like things that have innards and sex in them
but you know... haha we have to be soft every once and a while I guess.
I'm starting to become worried that everything of mine sounds the same.

wow this struck a chord .. caught my eye .. it makes me think of so many things ... so many images actually ...

Nice going on this one ...

I always enjoy your poetry, as much as i enjoy fresh air and rain :) You should keep it up.. dont worry about writing a particular type of poetry ... everyone does, i think everyone writes whats relevant in the moment .. and you just happen to be one of those people who can write VERY well in the moment ... and many reap the benifits, by being able to read it ...
